Analyze a whole area, not just one pin

Outline any catchment on the map. Placemaking collects every place inside it, then reads the area as a whole: which categories dominate, how they are distributed, and how people feel about the entire mix, not a single address.

  • Every place in your area, collected for you.
  • Category breakdown and distribution across the area.
  • Sentiment aggregated from every review, area-wide.

Ask anything about your area

No dashboards to learn, no reports to dig through. Ask a question the way you'd ask a colleague. Placemaking pulls the data, runs the analysis, and answers.

  • Track sentiment from every review in one place.
  • Find local influencers ranked by real engagement.
  • Benchmark against competitors nearby.

Every review, read for you

Placemaking reads thousands of Google reviews, for a single place or across every place in an area, and renders the sentiment: the overall score, the star spread, and the themes behind it. You get the verdict, not a wall of text.

  • Sentiment scored from real reviews, not guessed.
  • Every theme quantified, the good and the bad.
  • The first thing to fix, surfaced for you.

Get a clear answer with the numbers behind it. Share the one-page result with your team and move.

Everything you need to know your place

Eight ways Placemaking turns scattered signals into decisions.

01

What shoppers are saying, and what to fix first

Every review across every source, turned into sentiment, themes, and a ranked list of what to act on.

02

Who actually visits, and what brings them back

Demographics, behavior, and loyalty patterns for the people really in your asset, not a panel.

03

What competitors are doing, before the trade press

See how rival centres perform, where they win, and where you can take their footfall.

04

The fastest-moving categories in your catchment

Category momentum tracked continuously, so you move before everyone else does.

05

Brand Watch

Monitor retail brands against your own KPIs: social momentum, store openings, funding events, and sentiment that starts to slip, flagged before they tell you.

06

Tenant fit analysis

Does this brand belong here? Score any prospective tenant against your catchment audience, category gaps, and pricing alignment, in a one-page result you can share with the landlord.

07

Influencer discovery

Looking for the right voice? Find local influencers ranked by relevance and real engagement.

One chatbot for all of it

Ask in plain language. Placemaking pulls the data, runs the analysis, and answers instantly.

Frequently asked questions

What is Workbench?

Workbench is an AI assistant that knows everything about your asset. Connect your footfall data, turnover, Google reviews, competitor intelligence, spend patterns, and more, then ask questions in plain language and get answers, not dashboards. Think of it as an analyst who has read every data source about your property and is available instantly.

What can I actually ask it?

Leasing teams ask things like: which food and beverage brands are trending in our catchment but not yet in our mix? Marketing teams ask: how did my Christmas activation campaign perform? Asset managers ask: which of our tenants has the lowest sentiment score relative to its category average, and why? Ask it the way you would ask a colleague who had read every data source at once.

Can I see which brands would fit my centre before approaching them?

Yes. You give us your location and we analyse the catchment audience, current tenant mix, and category gaps, then rank prospective brands by fit score. Each recommendation includes the brand's social momentum, recent store openings, and whether their audience pricing aligns with your visitors' spending patterns.

How is this different from other location intelligence providers?

Most providers give you footfall counts and demographic tables. Workbench gives you the answer layer on top: it connects all your data sources, identifies what is driving a change, and tells you what to do about it. Different question, different product.
