Last updated 12 June 2026

These terms govern your use of Placemaking. Please read them carefully. This is a general template and should be reviewed by your legal counsel before relying on it.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Placemaking (the service), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you accept these terms for that organization, and you confirm you have authority to do so.

2. The service

Placemaking provides AI assisted analytics for places, including review sentiment, visitor insight, competitor and brand intelligence, and related reporting. We may update, add, or remove features over time.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may require you to verify your email address before using certain features.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including attempting to access it in an unauthorized way, interfering with its operation, or using it to violate any law or the rights of others.

5. Plans and billing

The service is offered through trial and paid plans. Plan features and pricing may change. Where a plan is paid, charges are billed in advance and are non refundable except where required by law.

6. Intellectual property

The service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by Placemaking and its licensors. You retain ownership of data you submit, and you grant us the rights needed to operate and improve the service.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an as is and as available basis. Insights are generated with the help of automated systems and may contain errors. You are responsible for decisions you make based on the service.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Placemaking is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from your use of the service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or if we are required to do so by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
